We had an amazing time at Costis place. We loved that it’s somewhat secluded, be surrounded by the Cretan landscape, having a view on the Mediterranean and be able to have a swim in the pool whenever you want. The place also has a grill outside, which we mostly used for grilling fresh fish, which you can get at the local fishmonger in Perama, about a 10 min drive. It’s a place to feel in harmony with Crete, while enjoying the incredible hospitality and kindness of Costis and his mother. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious dishes or other lovely surprises from Costis mother. Also Costis made the effort to welcome us when we arrived and come over to say goodbye. The place is well kept, modern inside and an AC to keep you comfortable at night. The interior could benefit from a redesign to improve the furniture, decoration and light situation, but really that is the only minor point. An exceptional stay in an exceptional villa.The location is central and great for touring around. The villa is new, and very comfortable. From the private pool you have sweeping views of the ocean and from the front of the villa you can see the highest peak in Crete, Mt. Ida. The beds, baths, kitchen, living are all perfect Costis is perhaps the best host we have encountered. The Raki, Honey, Olive oil his farm produces is well stocked, as well as a fridge full of food. Great communication with host. Beautiful, clean home. Views from the backyard were amazing to watch the sunset every night. The villa is very modern, very clean and with a beautiful view. Costis was a great host and the house was just beautiful. We were able to enjoy our vacation in peace and enjoyed every minute of it. The location of the house is also great.
